I have maybe one or two more photos from NYC to post. Then maybe a few LA shots. But as of now I don't think I'll have anything when I get back home to Hong Kong. Yesterday I found my camera is overexposing like 5 or 6 stops. From my research (Thanks for the help E) looks like the metering component is fucked. With Nikon's notoriously shitty policy of not fixing cameras with foreign serial numbers (mine is a US serial), it could mean I am shit out of luck while I'm in Hong Kong. While a dead camera is not detrimental, it still totally blows, I've been looking forward to shooting a lot while I go home for a few months, I guess that will have to wait. Hope this string of bad luck ends soon, this shit is starting to get really tiring. [camera update] Just got off the phone with Nikon support, according to them, the metering chip is loose, apparently a common problem with the D2h. It'll need to be send in for servicing, looks like it will be almost a 2 month turn around if I send my camera in since I'm not a NPS member. I feel like I'm about to do something stupid, like run out and pick up a new camera...
