2/4 Thanks everyone for your comments on yesterday's post. A few of you asked about the shot, so here's a little info about it. This applies for this and the remaining three shots. All of these were shot from the Empire State Building observatory. Shot handheld since they don't allow tripods up top. ISO200, 1/20th, f2, steady hands, railings you can wedge the camera against for support and thoughts of warm tropical location while shooting with the -10 wind chill up top. I made a little write up of my post process work flow awhile back, which you should check out first. The color and all that fun things were a combination of tweaking the white balance to be colder than it should be when I was processing the RAW file and then further reduced the yellows and magenta levels using selective color in photoshop, because I just don't like them too much.
