Lately I've been spending a lot of time thinking about where I'm taking this project and what I'm trying to get out of it. I started overshadowed this april as a way to get back into photography. What I got out of this was more than just an creative outlet, I also found a group of like-minded people who have continually inspire me and allow me to share my ideas, my interest and a part of my life with.
The responses and feedback from everyone has been amazing and I thank each and everyone of you for your support. All of you keep me motivated to keep trying new things and take this further.
So with that said, lets take this project further. Today I'm trying something a little different. It's a video montage, called "Recollection". It's compose of every single shot I took this month, put together in an edit to show what I've shot this month. I don't really know what I am trying to say with this, I guess it's like a recap of my month. So here's my November in 1 minute 30 seconds.
Recollection November 04 [QT5 5mb]
[update] Just a little info about this video. The 2000 ish jpgs were imported as sequence into into Adobe Aftereffects, rendered into quicktimes and then edited together in Final Cut Pro. Same technique I used for the video "PAUSED" I made 3 years ago, using image sequences and loops. This one was made with me traveling around Hong Kong for a week holding down the shutter of my Coolpix 5000 until the card filled up. I didn't own a video camera at the time...
